Order process
- Placing an order: To place an order, customers must provide accurate information, including delivery address and contact details.
- Order Confirmation: Once your order is received, you will receive an email confirmation with details of your purchase.
- Availability:
Pricing and payment
Pricing: All prices are quoted in pounds. Pricing is valid only for the date the order us placed.
Payment methods: We accept cash or bank transfer. Payment must be received on the installation day, before leaving the site.
- Base requirement
- Foundation: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the site where the shed will be placed is level and stable. We put the shed up only on concrete bases or slabs. A suitable foundation must be prepared before the delivery. If you are unsure, we recommend contacting a professional for advice.
- Space requirements: Sufficient space for delivery and installation must be provided. The customer must ensure there is enough room for the shed and any required assembly equipment.
Deliver
Delivery time: Estimated deliver times will be provided 1-3 days before installation day.
- Delivery charges: We offer free delivery within 25miles from our workshop – IP30 ODH. Delivery fees apply for locations
Self-Assembly
- Assembly Instructions: If you choose to assemble the shed yourself, detailed instructions will be provided.
- Customer Responsibility: The customer assumes all responsibility for the assembly, including any risks involved. Suffolk Timber Sheds Ltd. is not liable for any damages caused during assembly or any issues arising from incorrect assembly.
- Delivery Location: Our delivery service includes drop-off of your shed at the most accessible location outside your property, typically at the front door, driveway, or curbside. Our delivery team will not carry the shed onto the garden, through gates, or beyond the designated delivery area.
- Access: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery location is accessible for the delivery vehicle. Please ensure that any gates, paths, or driveways are clear and wide enough to allow safe and efficient delivery.
Cancellations and refunds
Order cancellation: If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so before we start making your shed as all sheds are bespoke garden sheds. Please contact our customer service team as soon as possible.
- Refunds: Refunds will be processed according to our refund policy, and any refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
- Returns and Exchanges
- Eligibility: Returns and exchanges are only accepted for products are defective or damaged upon arrival.
- Return Process: To initiate a return, please contact customer service within 14 days of receiving your order.
Warranty and Liability
- Warranty: Our shed comes with a one year warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. We do not cover any damages caused to the product as a result of customer neglect (not maintaining the product), damp ingress (placing a product too close to a wall or fence) or any other preventable damage caused by misuse or insufficient care.
- Liability: Suffolk Timber Sheds Ltd. is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from improper installation (if it is not made by us).
Exclusions from Warranty
Our warranty does not cover damage caused by the following:
- Water Damage or Dampness: The warranty does not extend to any issues by moisture, water ingress, or damp conditions. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their shed is properly maintained to prevent water or dampness from affecting its structure and materials. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring the shed is placed on a suitable foundation to prevent water accumulation and regularly checking for signs of moisture build-up. n
- Neglect or Improper Maintenance: Damage resulting from neglect, improper maintenance, or failure to properly care for the shed, especially in regions with wet or humid conditions, is not covered under the warranty. The customer must ensure that the shed is regularly checked for issues such as leaks, dampness, and rot, and take appropriate steps to protect it from the elements.
Customer Responsibility
- Installation: If installation services are not included, the customer is responsible for ensuring proper installation of the shed.
- Maintenance: All sheds are treated outside, NOT inside. Customers must follow maintenance instructions provided by the installation team to ensure the longevity and functionality of the shed.
